Welcome to the diffrent diets we have been working with. 

Low carb,  paleo and gluten free

There are many things that can help you live a healthy life and diet is part of it when we changed Matt to a Low Carb diet he has a noticeable amount of less seizures so much so that the test results showed it in his brain waves.

 

For many years we had him on the Low Carb and it has work magic so we decided it was time to change it up and try something new.

 

So we started with Paleo and then we added the gluten free and so far we are having some great results

Low Carb Diet 

With Us we started Matt on a really low Carb he was only allowed 20 carbs a day and although at first it seemed difficult the more creative I became the easier it was there are many things you can have that will make a great meal like Pork rhin pancakes, so many different kinds of salad, lots of veggies are low in carbs and work really well for meals and of course there is eggs, meat and cheese which are all lower carb so there is many things you can get and now they even have low carb bread so it is wide open for many just start reading lables. 

Paleo 

We started using this diet to add a little more Proten it is more meat, fish, veggies and fruit it cuts all the grains and wheats and it really is good for adding new food back into Matts diet like fruit because fruits are high on carb so he could not have a lot of them. 

Gluten Free 

We started Matt on a gluten free diet so he could get more fat on his bones as the one thing for sure the low carb does is make you skinny. This diet is a lot of reading lables and it is says gluten free you can eat it, now a lot of food is gluten free but because it may have been processed in a plant with gluten foods in could be cross contaminated so they cant put the lable Gluten Free on it.

Now this doesnt mean it isnt gluten free it means it could be cross contaminated so becareful. 

So read labels and try it if you want to or just stick to everything that says gluten free on it. 

Gluten free diet is basicly staying away from three things Wheat, Rye and Barley so stay away from these and you will be good. 
Of course this opens it up way more for is so he began again to eat all the foods he loves Pizza, Pasta, rice, cookies, candies and so many more it is way easier to feed him while we are out and about many places have something gluten free so we can feed him something.
