A Fathers love
A Fathers love
Blood does not make you a father, Blood doesnt make you family its how you feel towards someone else <3
I have been so grateful to witness the love between my husband and our children all our children.
Mike my husband married into three al late teens and young adult all with our own issues and Matt who has so many issues and heath issues as well.
When Mike and I met my three children were Youngest to oldest 13 Tegan, 14 Matt and 19 Clarissa, we were all getting out of a difficult situation and trying to find balance, peace and love and we all had our issues. Matt was just starting on the difficult part of his illness and I needed all the help I could get so grateful for Mike at this time.
That was almost 12 years ago now and he still stayed with us making an effort to have a good relationship with each and everyone of our children and of course sometime it takes a little more with Matt.
Although it takes time Mike has always put in the effort, has always been there with open arms and an open heart, when Matt would say mean things (not meaning to just the way his brain things and blurts out stuff) Mike would not take it personally, it has taken a while and still he never gives up.
If you ask him he will tell you these are all his kids, he has two daughters, two sons and a grand daughter. These are our babies.
Yesterday Matt said to Mike as Mike was on his way out the door. " Um Mike, Your a great father" a big smile came over me although it may not seen like a lot to me it was, to Mike it so was. This is how he shows his appriciation for all the love and caring Mike has done.
It may not be easy but it is so worth it.
I am so grateful I get to experiance this process. Love is inside you and so easy to give, let go of the bad and love unconditionally it is so worth it and worth watching.
