Government messed up Cannabis law in Canada

I am so upset with how our government has handled our legalization of Cannabis, I am so upset how they have not put into place any medicinal law first how everything is recreational and all government run. All the medicinal shops have had to close their doors not able to get licence as the government is wanting all their shops up and running first. These are shops that have been in place and helping people for years, helping people who need cannabis not just wanting it but NEEDING it, like Matt. All the education, the knowledge, the research that these people have done in all their years of working in or running these business not even looked at by the government why wouldn't you use the best in the business? The ones who know what they are doing.

I have no idea why, I would like to see the government begin to look into the medicinal aspect of it and to allow these shops to continue to help the people they do and not to just focus on the recreational. It isn't always about fun, it actually helps people heal and live with life altering diseases. It is time to change the way we see cannabis and help people understand that some people NEED it to survive.

I wrote this post below about another shop being closed down due to not being able to get a government licence.

NOW WHAT?

I am so disappointed with the way the government is handling this they are only thinking recreational, they have never thought medicinal, I am so angry right now all the medicinal ones are closing down recreational opening up but nothing strong enough to help my son.

We have been dealing with Epilepsy for over half his life he is now 31 and has had it since he was 13 for many years it was all pharma drugs only and NOTHING worked I cant tell you what we have been through dealing with all of that.

Finally we found something that HELPS him and works but we cant get it through the government stores (focusing on recreational not medicinal).

Now that all the medicinal stores are shutting down where do we and many like us go to get what we need to help either ourselves or our loved ones?

I am so up set I have no idea what to do at this point.

I guess I need to start growing and making my own.

Time for more research.

I would like to see our government focus on medicinal use as well as recreational.

I would like their prices to be reasonable so everyone can afford it (again for medicinal).

I would like to see change in this area instead of shutting down store make it more accessible for those who NEED it not just want it.
