A book for Matt
Guess who got his own copy of my book? Yes Matt, he picked up one of the books I had laying down and decided to start reading it. I wasn't sure he would even want to read it as the day before when I received the book he was having a difficult day and did not seem interested at all.
Matt kept coming to me like he wanted something but didn't ask he just would come and look at me.
Being his mom for over thirty years you kind of realize patterns and although I may not know what I knew he wanted something, it is usually always a guessing game at times, is it food? Is it outside? Is it something else? Is it nothing at all? I am always guessing.
Then I was at my desk and he came up to me and looked at a the life with Matt book I had on my desk just staring at it. I said would you like your own book? I took the book and signed it for him and gave it to him.
In one day he read 4 chapters and today he is reading some more, he made it to chapter 8 before bed time.
