Gaining Weight
Gaining weight
For many of us I think we dont want to read about gaining weight but the opposit on loosing weight, well for Matt it has seemed to be a struggle to keep weight on him and we had been trying everything. In the past year he lost another 10 lbs bringing him down to 110 lbs way to low in my books. We fed him more and all different types of food but for some reason we just hadnt been able to keep weight on him.
This past few months we have done everything we could to put the weight on I hate that he looks so skinny, I hate that nothing we did was working so we fed him even more food yes we went over our food buget and bought stuff we normaly wouldnt more chips, cookies and junk food more oatmeals and cereal and milk. Although we get some funding to help with Matt we do not get a lot and to feed him the way he needs to eat to gain weight well is way more then we are intitled to for him and there is no funding or specialty food programs for what he requires so it comes out of our pocket.
He gained 4 whole pounds that may not seem like a lot and for many of us after the holiday season gaining only 4 lbs would have been amazing and as far as we are concern Matt gaining anything is wonderful. It started to show in his face and he is looking a little more healthy.
Now to get him up 6 more lbs and he will be up to 120lbs which will be wonderful for all of us.
So what have we added to Matts diet Gluten free
rice
chips
cookies
cake
pumpkin pie
rice pudding
Cereal
Oat meal
High fat yogart
Protin shakes
nuts
Potatos
carrots
Turnups
and many other veggies
Meat
cheese
Milk
I am sure there is more but at the moment cant think of it All is good for Glutin free and many are costly as he has to eat so much to make a differance.
I wish I know of somewhere to get extra funding to help balk him up that would be great.
YAY Matt finaly put on weight
