Close call
I usually have a car that I can use when it comes to taking Matt anywhere how ever the past while I have had to take a bus and today we had a close call.
Reasons Matt needs a car
One we never know when he will have a seizure
Two Many things can add to having a seizure including heat
Three we never know what is going to trigger him and change his attitude
there are many more but these three will be good for now.
So as we got off our bus ride and walked to the bank it was hot and Matt got really hot and became shaky and pail we were worried he would have a seizure and us with out anyway to get him back or to recover. So we took him inside the mall to cool off and gave him some Ice Cream in a cup to help with cooling off it did work thank goodness. He doesnt always get a seizure if he gets to hot and turns pain and begins shaking but it has happened more then once so we try to do everything in our power to help him cool off.
It was a close call as we had just got to the mall and we still had things to do. I always prefer to take him everywhere in a car as then I know I have him safe and if he has a seizure then he would be safe in the car. Not that a seizure is ever safe but at least I know he wouldnt fall to the ground and hurt himself and if it is hot he could just stay in the car with the air on that would cool him off instead of getting out in the heat.
This was a close call and I realize I need to get a car that I can drive Matt around in all the time, I need to get Matt his own Vehicle but HOW?
