Family BBQ
The past few days have been wonderful, we have been having such good days with Matt. Sure sometimes he gets upset here and there but mostly he has been is really good moods and very excited about doing things even if it was just playing with the little ones which he is doing more and more.
I am so very grateful for these day I am so very grateful for all this amazing time yes so very happy.
Yesterday we went to a family BBQ I surprised Matt as he didnt know he was going to even go somewhere, I gave him clean clothes and said here are some clean clothes and placed them on his bed and left thinking he would but them on. A little while later came back to Matt still wearing the clothes he was wearing and I said "Oh your not dressed yet. I need to go get your clean sock you get dressed and I will be right back." While cleaning out the clothes on the floor he says to me all excited like "Am I going somewhere?" "Yes" I reply In a very excited voice he says "Oh I did not know that" In return I said "that is because I surprised you.
He was so excited he didnt even care where we were going.
At the BBQ he usually focused on food but this time he really had a good time and even socialized with people it made me so happy, so proud to know that we are actually getting somewhere with him I am so very grateful for this time we had with him and family.

Although he had plenty to eat as we all do when we go to family BBQ's He just seemed so happy and having fun even though the wasps came and tried to eat him meal he still had a great time.
And when we were leaving I was giving everyone a hug and I said he could go and do this as well if he liked and he even went to people he didnt always talk with and said his farewells. I was filled with pride, I was filled with hope, I was filled with love and excitement it was such an exciting time for me.
Yesterday was a really good day <3
