And then Matt Yells
Invited to someones home, walking in getting everyone settled, not even a minute in and Matt Yell's at the dog "GET DOWN".
Mike is beside him reassures him its okay, I was down the hall and call him back to me and chat with him, "its okay bud but its not your house so if you want someone else's dog to stay off you ask mom or Mike for help, or the owner, no need to yell okay."
On the way over Matt was in a really good mood, we were joking around and having fun dancing in the car singing to the radio and laughing.
So what can make him be this happy guy to a very upset and yelling guy? Well with Matt anything can be a trigger, including a happy dog jumping up at him.
Moods change quickly and anything can happen and when the dog jumped up his first instinct is to yell. Time and time again we try to remind Matt to not yell but time and time something triggers it. This put's Matt in a bad mood is it because he is now agitated and cant get back to happy as easily? Is it because everyone was looking at him and he felt embarrassed? Is it because he really didn't know what else to do? I don't know. For the remainder of the visit he sat there unhappy and agitated.
Its hard visiting others because you just never know what will happen and will they understand?
Matt would never harm anyone or any animal but yelling is a different story and we never know when it will happen. All I can do is make the most of it after word and help him feel better and go about our visit.
