A brothers love

A brothers love

Matt has always wanted a brother. With having two sisters one older Clarissa and one younger Tegan, this was understandable.

It wasn't till much later when Matt was in his 20's that he finally had his little brother Loki. Although there was such an age gap it didn't seem to matter, he was so excited from the moment he found out I was pregnant. When I was in labor with Loki Matt helped me out while Mike parked the care, he was holding my bag and pushing my wheel chair up to the desk. So grateful he was able to help and that he was coherent this evening.

Having Loki was one of my favorite memories for so many reasons and of course seeing Matts face when he was there laying on my tummy was so priceless.

You could tell right away he was so proud to be a big brother to this amazing little guy.

It continue to show as Loki got older bit by bit you could tell he loved being a big brother.

Reading with him, telling stories to him

Hiking with him or just loving on him.

So when Matt has a difficult day like he did this past week (I wrote about called Some days its a Roller Coaster ride) it is good to see him little brother go the extra mile to help out with him, but it is really good to see him the next day him wanting to spend some time with him brother.

Loki brought a chair from the kitchen table to Matts room so he could watch a movie with Matt and later in the day he asked Matt if he would like to play a game with him.

We don't always get to have these memories but when we do it is amazing. I love the way these two love each.
