Epilepsy what you don't see
Many do not understand the side effects of epilepsy, they don't understand what is happening to someone with Epilepsy, they don't really understand all the seizures but then again who really does?
There are so many different types of seizures and so many different side effects for both epilepsy and seizures.
The things many don't understand or sometimes even believe, like lack of sleep or being over tired, confusion or loss of awareness, nausea, muscle aches, dizziness and the lest goes on and on, and until you truly understand this illness and the person whom is affected by this you will think these are just un-believed issues.
They are not, I know there are some days for Matt that getting out of bed is a chore in its self and other days he just cant seem to go to sleep, some days he just is confused all day or unaware of everything going on and some days you can full conversations with him. You just never know what is happening or going to happen.
You may have off days, you may have difficult days, you may have days you just want to give up but don't take your time take care of you and know that this will soon pass. If you know someone with Epilepsy please remember there is a lot you don't see be patent with them, give them time to get through it and always be there for them.
