Complex focal seizure

Complex focal seizure While having dinner Matt had a seizure first I thought it was an absent it only lasted a few moments, then he began what I think was a complex seizure.

It isn't easy to know when it is about to happen, there is never any warning sigh ever.

I was sitting across from Matt at dinner all of us chatting away when all of a sudden I look at Matt and he is looking absently at me I can tell he isn't there mentally and I see he is slowly losing control of everything, I get up and make my way across to him.

Leaning towards my grand daughter Jaden I pull him back up to sit and move his bowl out of the way as he was just about to spill it, he starts making groaning or smacking noises and moving hands around, I try to help him stay calm until he is out of it.

It always happens so fast, it always comes with out warning, it just happens, just like that.
