Family gatherings Birthday parties

Gatherings are always interesting with Matt.

Although he may seem excited to go when we get there things can change and he just seems to be in his own world not really fitting in and no one conversing with him, not that they don't try, but it's usually one word answers if any at all.

How ever we all make the most of it and even try to help him have a good time but this day was his quiet observing time.

And these times are okay to, as long as he is near me and is close to me then all is good. 

He even managed to get up and hug me telling me I am the best mom ever. Maybe it was all the food I gave him lol, no I know he loves me and appreciates everything I do for him.

Take heart these moments don't last forever remember the good more, let it fill you up.
