Epilepsy is not rare
Epilepsy is NOT rare. There are more than twice as many people with epilepsy in the U.S. as the number of people with cerebral palsy (500,000), muscular dystrophy (250,000), multiple sclerosis (350,000), and cystic fibrosis (30,000) combined. Epilepsy can occur as a single condition or may be seen with other conditions affecting the brain, such as cerebral palsy, intellectual disability, autism, Alzheimer's disease, and traumatic brain injury.

It really is more common then many people know.
Before Matt was diagnosed I only knew of one person who had it and as time when on I have learned of many either I know of them personally or I have heard about someone that has it.
Epilepsy is not rare in fact it can happen to anyone at any time, there are sometimes some causes like cerebral palsy, intellectual disability, autism, Alzheimer's disease, and traumatic brain injury but a lot of times it is caused by nothing at all.
More then 42 people find out tgey have Epilepsy each day, frim as young as a baby to over 65 age does not matter.
