Epilepsy fact: Yes you can die from.Epilepsy although it doesnt happen frequently. 

People can die from all different reasons with Epilepsy, due to seizure, prolonged seizure, injury due to a seizure, over dose of medication, due to suicide and the most common cause of death is sudden unexpected death in epilepsy (SUDEP), it just happens one night in your sleep.

There are many different ways this can happen and we ourself have had some really close calls, knowing this is a fact scares me so much every night I say good night, every time I hear a aeizure, every moment I know that this could happen.
