Injury can happen

Epilepsy fact: injury can happen.

Many people have injurys due to seizures, falling and harming themself, injury due to a grand mal and other seizures.

Matthew himself has had many, many injuries some that need stiches and some that do not, some that need hospitalization and some that done. He.has cuts, bursaries and so many times he has blood coming from his mouth from biting his tongue, cheeck, lips or even banging his teeth into his gums.

Yes injury does happen and for Matt it happens often, unfortunately.

We know by now that he does not always need to go to the hospital but sometimes when he needs stitches he does, sometimes when he falls just right or lands the wrong way he hurts himself and there is nothing we can do to stop it.

Yes injury can happen and there is nothing you can do to stop it all you can do is try to keep them as safe as you can and know this is always a possibility.
