Most people with epilepsy can do the samething other people can do

Epilepsy Fact: Most people with epilepsy can do the samething other people with ot epilepsy can do, however, some people with frequent seizures may not be able to go to work, drive a vehical, attend programs and may have problems in other parts of their life.

Like for Matt he has had difficulty from day one his whole life was turned upside down and so.was ours, he needed someone with him full time to monitor him, not only for his seizure activity but also.from his depression and suicidale actions.

There were days where he was not able to care for himself at all (in a complete zombie state) he could not speak or eat or dress himself, he could not do anything by himself and I had to do it all.

There is no funding for parents caring for.their.adult child their is no programs that are willing to.take him during the day if.he is having seizures still (everyone is afraid of being liable), so someone has to be home with him always.

There is no extra funding for diets, or other treatments, no funding for cannabis, chiropractors, physio, acupuncture, or anything that might help him we have to try it on.our own.

Some people can do what others can do but the more seizures you have the more it becomes difficult to be able to it all.

Matt can do somethings by himself like deside to come outside and throw a ball around dor the dogs and play with Jaden. He can write a story, watch a movie and read a book but taking care of himself is out of the question at this moment.

Fact is that the more uncontrolable your seizures are the less likely you can do it all, but dont let that stop you set a goal and work.towords it everyday, that is all you can do.

Never give up

Joan
