65 million people around the world have epilepsy.

Fact there are 65 million people around the world who have epilepsy.

Every single day people receive the news that they have epilepsy, parents receive the news that their child have epilepsy and now they need to change their whole world.

Every day someones life gets turned upside down with the news of this illness, I know it did for us. I remember that moment so well as Matt is laying in the hospital bed and the doctor says "It seems Marr had a seizure, it could mean he has epilepsy." I heard the word and became so worried thinking to myself oh no not this, not Matt, oh no.

I had met a man a few years before who had epilepsy he could not conttol his seizures through medication and him and his wife were having a difficult time he couldnt work or go to school or go anywhere with out him, normal life one moment and just like that his whole life turned upside down. They ciuld not conceive a baby and their plans for a baby were limited (parr of the illness). Shortly after meeting him (a few years) he passed away in his sleep.

This is what I knew about epilepsy. I went home and learndd as much as I could and began our journey of epilepsy.

Fact someone today will find out they have epilepsy.
