Yes diets help, it isnt counting cal's or weighing yourself but it is certine diets that help control seizure activity.
Like the low card diet, of palio, or ketogenic diet and Gluten free all gave worked for out for us.
Although.Matt has always loved food and hasnt always liked the thought of being on a diet it has helped so much with reducing seizure activities.
We did the low carb diet for years and it reduced his seizure activity from many daily to one a month grand mals and no apparent other ones.
I few years ago we began introducing other diets like Palio, Keto and Gluten Free and mostly feed him Gluten Free.
It is interesting how well food affects our body and how we had to learn this with out any research on it.Â
The low carb helpped so well it cut seizure activity in the brain to a small portion of the brain. It worked so well that now doctors are prescribing it for Epilepsy.
