Grasping at staws
Grasping at straws
We all do it dont we, whether it be in hopes of something or trying to find fault with something it is something we do.
This morning as soon as I woke up Matts door opened and I heard him say in a not so happy tone. "I need to take with you."
"Okay let me take the dogs out." I reply.
As I walk into his room his books scattered everywhere I see he is upset but just grasping at things to be upset at.
Talking about mine and Clarissa's phones, the Toa book he is reading different parts that are coming up that he doesnt understand, the dog licking him, when he reads the word wrestling he states he doesnt know martial arts. I explain the sentance and let him know it is the wrong kind of wrestling.Â
I then explain it with using him as an example and wrestling with himself tobbe upset no matter what.Â
He continued to grasp at straws to find somewhere to be angry.
We all do it, we all grasp at straws to be hopeful or upset, we just forget that is what we are doing and at anytime we can choose to stop being upset and become hopeful instead.
Choose better thoughts, choose better feelings, choose a better day.
