I am so glad Mike is my dad

"I am so glad Mike is my dad." Matt said to me one morning as I begin getting all his morning stuff ready.

"I am so glad to" I tell him.

It is really good to hear Matt say this and to witness a relationship between these two.

Mike from day one has only wanted to help Matt in every way and it shows.

Even before we got married, even before we lived together Mike was helping with new ways to help Matt reduce seizure activitie, helping him have a little more freedom when swimming in the deep end, helping him keep clean and always being loving towards him, being a real dad.

It is wonderful as a parent to see this relationship grow and become so strong that Matts first words before good morning are "I am so glad Mike is my dad".

Appreciate those who show you how important you are.
