What makes a service dog?
Rose has never had any training to be a service dog, she has never learned to detect seizures or to lay on him while he comes out of it so how did she know that this is something she needed to do?
Last night as we were getting ready for bed, laying in bed and I hear Rose bark we tell he to leave it but she continues, its not an.aggresive bark, its a bark that she usually does to Matt at times.
I get up.and sure enough she is at Matts door barking, I send her away but she just comes back so I listen on the door and I can hear Matt coming out of a seizure.
I open the door and she continues to bark I try to get her to be quiet but she really wants to see Matt so I let her go to see what she does and she lays down on him.
She lays there on him as he goes through his aftermath.

As I notice what she is doing I explain it to Loki and he see's it as well she is trying to help Matt, Loki is very happy with his puppy.

I have always believed that dogs bring so much to our life including making us alert of something that is happening we are unaware of.
Rose helped us last night by letting us know Matt was having a seizure, so what makes a service dog? Training? I think now she may not have the certification, she may not have the training but she is already showing she wants to be one.
