I Have NO idea what I am looking for
I Have NO idea what I am looking for
Have you ever had a moment where you are walking around and you forget what you are looking for?Well yes many of us have. A moment of this is okay because if we cant remember we usually move on and find something else to focus on.
What happens if you cant focus on something else, what happens if you get stuck looking for something you have NO idea what it is?
What happens if you spend your day trying to find what you are looking for but not knowing what it is you are looking for? For the past few days this has been Matt he isnt sure what he is looking for, he doent have a clue but he is so focused on finding it that he is searching and even unplugging things, and taking cords and bags and trying to find something, anything.
It started a few days ago he was so focused on getting his computer fixed, wanting to play some games (which really helps his de-stress and un-focus on what ever is going on his head), he was focusing on when he would be able to get his computer fixed and stressing on when and how it was going to happen and for two days he wouldnt let it go, so he woke up the other day in a thought of he has to find something, he doesnt really know how to communicate about it or even what words he wants to use about it because he isnt really sure what he is doing or what he is looking for.
He forgets because he is so focused on what he is looking for that he doesnt know what he is looking for that he forgets Everything that he is not allowed to do, Forgets what he can eat and what he cant eat, forgets he isnt allowed to do somethings, Forgets and walks around not really knowing what he is doing. It is a confusing state for him and yes he gets a little upset.
This is just a small part of Life with Matt.
Confusion, frustration, anger, saddness, gratitude, clarity, kindness, happiness, love.
We never know who we are waking up to, we never know what our day or our life will be like but one thing is for sure this guy needs us and we are here for him.
So many times we get so caught up on what we are focused on we get confused, we become obsessed, imagine not having an off button, imagine not being able understand, imagine walking around in confusion. Imagine this being your Child.
I am so looking forward to the time we can fix his computer so he can easily snap out through games that will occupy his mind, through challenges and creating, I am so looking forward to this for him.
For now how ever I will just be on extra alert and watch him like a hawk.
