Some good days

Matt turned 26 this week and a week before he was so in his head and had so many things happen people talking to him and not able to focus on anything and wanting to do this or that, that he isnt able to do and really got lost along the way.

I used to take things like this very personally, I would try and try to get him feeling better, try different activities to help him out of his head, this time how ever I came up with ideas and shared but did not take the whole thing personally in fact I spent more time just loving him and accepting him for the state he was in.

For the first time ever he figured it out all on his own he started counting but not just counting he wrote the numbers down on a book and kept doing it everyday not only was it an accomplishment for him to get higher and also no longer focus on what he was focusing on and was able to relax his mind and with in a few days of this he was no longer thinking about people talking in his head.

By his Birthday weekend we were able to take him out for lunch and have a good day with him. For the first time in a very long time Matt had exactly what he wanted for his birthday pizza and cake.

Today as I was painting with Loki Matts little brother and Matt came down and asked us if he could join us and paint as well, I couldnt refuse it is a rear treat to have Matt come and join us so I sat up a canvas for him and let him go on his way of painting he loved it and wanted to do more. We need to get more canvas while we are out for another day of Painting..
