Sometimes you just need to do something special

Sometimes you just need to do something special for someone else, for yourself it just takes a few moments to do it..

Matt has been in some interesting mood angry, distracted, frustrated, sad, hallucinating, so today I have decided that it is time to do something nice for him, something special for him.

Before

Sometimes we take the simplest things for granted we get our hair down, soak in a tub, relax and enjoy our moments.

For someone like Matt this isnt always possible, in fact it isnt often possible, being reminded to change into clean clothes, take a bath, brush your teeth is most of the time, although focusing on things that need not be focused on like getting rid of seizure and what is going to happen in the future is a priority in his mind.

Sometimes it is just that little extra time and effort to help someone feel better about themselves after all that is the best part about being who we are feeling good about being us.

After

So today I am going to spend time with Matt I will cut his hair and shave his beard, run him a bubble bath light some candles and play some Mozart and just have him relax if even for a moment in time.

Then I will sit with him and remind him about things he is grateful for, then a walk outside on this amazing day.

Just allowing him to be who he is and loving him as he is, spending time listening and caring for him.

Sometimes all it takes is a little bit of kindness.
